Frequently Asked Questions

Appointments and Scheduling

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your initial evaluation lasts 60 minutes and includes a review of your medical history, symptoms,

movement assessment, and goal-setting. We'll create a personalized plan right away, often

starting light treatment. Wear comfortable clothes and bring any imaging or referrals that you

have. If you have not filled out new patient paperwork ahead of time, please come 10 minutes

prior to your scheduled time to complete in office to insure we have the full time for evaluation

and treatment.

How long are typical sessions? How often will I need to come?

Follow-up sessions last 30-60 minutes, with frequency tailored to your personalized plan set

during the initial evaluation. Since every patient’s needs differ, your cadence will be customized

for optimal progress.

How do I schedule or cancel an appointment?

Book online via our website, call the office at 208-342-7400, or text me at 541-786-3982. We

require 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid fees; same-day changes may incur charges.

Do you offer Telehealth or weekend hours?

Yes, virtual sessions are available and we do offer openings on Saturdays as well!

What is Telehealth PT and is it as Effective as In-Person?

Telehealth delivers virtual PT sessions via secure video, allowing real-time coaching on

exercises, movement analysis, and progress checks from home. It’s ideal for follow-ups,

education, and maintenance when travel is tough.

Research shows telehealth matches in-person outcomes for many orthopedic and chronic pain

conditions, especially with adherence to home programs. Hands-on techniques are best

in-clinic, but virtual care excels for monitoring and long-term success.

Billing and Insurance

What insurance do you accept?

We work with most major plans including Blue Cross, SelectHealth, United Healthcare, St

Luke’s Health Plan, St Al’s Health Plan, Cigna & Aetna. We also accept MVA and Workman’s

Comp. Verify coverage with our team or your insurer beforehand.

Do you offer a self-pay rate?

Initial evals start at $200; follow-ups at $100-150. Packages for cash-pay patients offer

discounts, ask about options during scheduling.

Will I get charged for no-shows or late cancellations?

Yes, a $75 fee applies for no-shows or less than 24 hours' notice, per our policy.
